IRD DMFC51M0210

The Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Stack (DMFC) consists of 51 Cell Units electrically connected in series. Each Cell Unit is supplied with methanol and air through a gas/liquid manifold. Each Cell Unit consists of a bipolar flow plate and a MEA. The MEA is the active electrochemical cell consisting of a methanol electrode, a polymer electrolyte and an air electrode with 180 cm2 in active area.
