The PEM fuel cell is constructed with internal water cooling and graphite-based flow-plates for long lifetime expectancy. It can be operated either with hydrogen rich reformat in an open-end fuel circuit or with pure hydrogen in a closed fuel circuit (dead-end).
The FC stack can operate in dead-end mode with hydrogen fuel. |
